Community of Enumclaw
Your Enumclaw Area Stadium (YEAS) Improvement Committee would invite you with many other community supporters in the renovation and development of an all weather synthetic multi-sports turf surface field at the Enumclaw Stadium.
This stadium has been home to generations of young football players who have forged leadership skills, strength and team building through gridiron competition. Even though the turf condition is the worst in the league, the stadium itself has been the heart and symbol of Hornet Football for over 60 years.
Improving the playing condition of the field will allow for expanded community uses of the stadium. Already the home of the Enumclaw High School Hornets, Junior Hornet Football, and Wolverine Junior Football, a renovated turf field will support three times current uses and include soccer, lacrosse, rugby, and other synthetic turf field youth programs.
Currently there is no synthetic turf field in the Enumclaw School District. All of the existing natural turf fields become damaged and unplayable in the Fall and Winter months, the most active time of the year and demand for field sport programs.
Our group was honored to be awarded a $200,000 NFL Grassroots Grant and additional community donations towards the field renovation, but we still need your help to make this fundraising campaign a complete success.
